Aintree

This Defender 110, known to us as Aintree, was commissioned for a family on Long Island who wanted a Modern Defender to live as their daily driver. School runs, commutes, weekends out, and the kind of practical use that asks for refinement, space, and capability in equal measure.

The drivetrain was specified with a GM 6.0 V8 paired to an automatic transmission. The Shoreline brake upgrade, Shoreline Dynamic Ride suspension upgrade, and stainless steel exhaust dial in the handling. A high-capacity battery and app-based remote start finish the mechanical package, both practical upgrades for everyday use.

The body was finished in Aintree Green with body color wide arches, a black OEM-style front grille, black headlight surrounds, smoked LED lights, and a black heavy-duty bumper with driving lights. Ebony side steps with rubber grips, an NAS-style rear step, black aluminum trim throughout, and a customer-added front A-Bar with two fog lights. Five 18-inch gloss black XTR2 alloy wheels on BF Goodrich tires, with a black rear wheel cover. A TDCI hood and back door finish the silhouette.

Inside, the cabin was built around chocolate fluted leather. Two new Recaro front seats and a Recaro Classic middle row in matching chocolate fluted, with four individual foldable rear seats in the load bay for a total of eight seats. Full extended chocolate leather across the dashboard, doors, and gaiters. A wide Double DIN dash upgrade wrapped in chocolate leather. Alcantara-effect roof lining, rear pillars, and window surrounds.

The tech was specified for a family that uses the car every day. A Pioneer in-dash screen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and DAB. Full 2.0 sound system upgrade with nine speakers and an added subwoofer. A dash camera with wiring. Two USB-C ports in the rear and one dual USB and USB-C in the front. A removable Marshall Bluetooth speaker. App-based remote start. A reverse camera. Stage two soundproofing keeps the cabin quiet on the highway. Full electric window conversion and remote central locking.

A high armrest cubby box in chocolate fluted leather sits in the center. A second cubby box was added to house the rear AC controls, with updated hinges moved to the rear for cleaner access. A personalized Shoreline build plate inside the cabin marks Aintree as one of one. Front and rear air conditioning, a luxury wood steering wheel, full interior aluminum pack, alloy gear and transfer knobs, new dashboard dials, and a full black carpet set finish the cabin.
