A restored Land Rover Defender 110, finished in 2024

Casino | Nardo Grey D110 Villain Double Cab

About the Build

Casino

This Defender 110, known to us as Casino, was commissioned for a customer in California who wanted the most aggressive Villain we build, configured as a Double Cab pickup and finished to California specification. A four-door truck with the presence of a road-going muscle car and the capability of a serious off-roader.

The drivetrain was specified with a GM LT1 V8, the California emissions compliant V8 swap, paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The LT1 was selected specifically for compliance with California's strict emissions standards while delivering the modern American V8 power this Villain edition is built around. A stainless steel exhaust and a complete suspension upgrade dial in the handling.

The body was finished in Nardo Grey with super wide black arches, a black heavy-duty bumper with driving lights and an A-Bar, a full body roll cage, ebony side steps with rubber grips, a black checker plate kit covering the wing tops, sills, and rear quarters, along with smoked LED lighting throughout. Black aluminum hardware across the hinges, handles, mirrors, and vents. 18-inch black beadlock-style Villain alloy wheels finish the stance. The Villain in its most physical form, configured as a four-door pickup.

Inside, the cabin was built around full extended Burgundy leather with diamond stitch. Upgraded Premium Recaro bucket front heated seats and a rear bench seat, all finished in matching Burgundy leather. Full Burgundy leather across the dashboard, doors, and gaiters. A high-armrest cubby box in matching Burgundy. Alcantara-effect roof lining, rear pillars, and window surrounds in black. Stage two soundproofing keeps the cabin quiet under the LT1.

A sports steering wheel, alloy gear and transfer knob, full interior aluminum pack, and new dashboard dials finish the front cabin. A Pioneer in-dash screen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and DAB pairs with a full 2.0 sound system upgrade with nine speakers. Remote central locking, full electric window conversion, and front integrated air conditioning round out the package.

The load bay was finished with a rubber coating and grip for real use. The Double Cab configuration delivers four full doors and seating for five, with the pickup bed open and ready for whatever California weekends require.

A Villain Double Cab built for a customer who wanted the most physical Defender we build, configured for California driving and finished to handle whatever the road and the trail can offer.
