About the Build
Dusty
This Defender 110, known to us as Dusty, was commissioned for a customer who wanted the look of a true classic Land Rover Defender with a more refined drive and a fully tailored interior to match. A Heritage build, with thoughtful upgrades where they matter most.
The drivetrain was specified with a GM LS3 6.2 V8 paired to an automatic transmission, lowered suspension, and a stainless steel exhaust. The result is a Defender 110 with effortless highway pickup and a kind of drivability the original could never offer.
The body was finished in Sahara Dust, one of the warmest and most distinctive colors in the classic Land Rover palette. Black aluminum hardware, smoked LED lights, black mesh vents, and 16-inch black Wolf steel wheels keep the exterior anchored in the heritage look. Steel wheels, not alloys. Period correct in spirit, refined in finish.
Inside, the cabin was reimagined for eight passengers. Premium heated and ventilated Recaro seats up front, individual Recaro middle row seats, and four foldable seats in the rear load bay. Every surface in the cabin was finished in Chocolate fluted leather, including the dashboard, doors, and gaiters. Front and rear air conditioning, a 9-speaker Pioneer sound system, and a pop-out infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and DAB make the interior as comfortable as the exterior is iconic.
