About the Build
Ridge
This Defender 90, known to us as Ridge, was commissioned for a customer in the Hamptons who wanted a Heritage build with a soft top configuration. Built for summer drives down country roads and quiet weekends along the East End.
The customer wanted to keep the original character of the Defender intact. The factory 300TDi engine was fully reconditioned and paired with an automatic transmission upgrade. The original engine, restored properly. The transmission, smoothed out for an easier drive. The best of both decisions on a single build.
The body was finished in Keswick Green, one of the most recognizable colors in the classic Land Rover palette. Paired with a Tan canvas soft top and black hood sticks, 18-inch deep dish split rim steel wheels with body color matched inner and silver outer rims, and BF Goodrich All Terrain tires. A Heritage style front grille, body color headlight surrounds, color-coded wide arches, ebony side steps, and aluminum trim throughout finish the exterior with a period-correct silhouette. Steel wheels, not alloys. Heritage in spirit, soft top by design.
Inside, the cabin was built around comfort and craftsmanship. Heated Tan fluted leather Puma front seats and folding rear bench seats in matching fluted stitch. Full extended Tan leather across the dashboard, doors, and gaiters. A teak rear deck finishes the load bay. Stage two soundproofing, a high armrest cubby box, and a wood steering wheel set the tone. An in-dash infotainment system runs Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and DAB, paired with a 2.0 sound system upgrade. Front air conditioning, electric windows, and remote central locking are standard.
A Heritage Soft Top for the customer who wants the classic Defender look, the open-air drive, and the comforts of a properly finished cabin.
Reconditioned 300TDi
Fully rebuilt original 300TDi engine paired with an automatic transmission upgrade. The factory drivetrain restored for reliability, with the comfort of an automatic for everyday driving.

Keswick Green paint, Tan canvas soft top with black hood sticks, Heritage style front grille, body color headlight surrounds, color-coded wide arches, ebony side steps, aluminum trim, and 18-inch deep dish split rim steel wheels. The classic Land Rover Defender silhouette, finished by hand.

Heated Tan fluted leather Puma front seats, folding rear bench seats, full extended leather throughout the dashboard and doors, wood steering wheel, teak rear deck, and full infotainment with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and DAB.
