The Shoreline Heritage Edition is the classic Land Rover Defender, built the way it would have been built if it had never gone out of production. The shape, the proportions, the steel wheels, the heritage colors. Everything you remember about the original, kept exactly where it should be.

What changes is what you cannot see from the outside.

We build the Heritage for the customer who wants their Defender to look unmistakably like a Defender. Not a reinterpretation. Not a reinvention. The car as it was, with the small things that make it livable for the way we drive now.

Outside, every Heritage is built around the original silhouette. Steel wheels in deep dish. Heritage badging. Body colors drawn from the classic Land Rover palette like Keswick Green and Chamonix White. The kind of finish that looks right at home anywhere a Defender has ever belonged.

Inside, the experience quietly catches up with the present. Heated leather seats, Alcantara roof lining, modern climate control, and a discreet navigation screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Tweed is offered as an optional upgrade for the customer who wants a deeper nod to the Defender's British roots.

Original on the outside. Properly finished on the inside. A classic Defender that drives like it belongs on the road today.

Built On The Original

Steel wheels, heritage badging, classic Land Rover colors. The Heritage looks like it could have rolled out of Solihull thirty years ago, because that is exactly the point.

What goes into our Heritage Defender

Every Shoreline Heritage Edition starts with a donor. That is the term we use for an original Defender 90 or Defender 110 sourced from Europe or the United States, the foundation that every Shoreline build is rebuilt from. We strip it back to the bare chassis and rebuild from there. The original drivetrain is fully reconditioned, or replaced with a different engine if the customer prefers a swap. The brakes and suspension are upgraded. The body is stripped, prepped, and refinished by hand.

The exterior of every Heritage is built to look classic. Steel wheels in 18 by 8 deep dish, all-terrain tires, heritage or mesh grill, extended wheel arches, and side runner bar steps. We finish each build in a heritage Land Rover color palette such as Keswick Green, Chamonix White, or other period-correct shades that suit the customer's taste. The result is a Defender that looks the way a Defender is supposed to look.

Inside is where the Heritage quietly catches up with the present. Full leather interior including the dashboard, heated front seats, Alcantara style roof lining, luxury carpeting, and an upgraded sound system with subwoofer. A discreet navigation screen supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Electric windows, remote central locking, and a reverse camera are all standard. Tweed inserts are available as an optional upgrade for customers who want a deeper British heritage feel in the cabin.

Available as a hard top or soft top, in either Defender 90 or Defender 110.
