The Shoreline Villain Edition is the Defender at its most physical. Lifted. Blacked out. Big wheels, bigger tires, and the kind of presence that needs no introduction.

This is the Defender for the customer who wants the most of everything. The most stance. The most attitude. The most physical version of a build we make.

Built like a muscle car.

The Villain is a custom Land Rover Defender for the customer who refuses to blend in. Lifted off-road suspension. Modern grille. Beadlock wheels and Maxxis Trepador off-road tires. Aggressive arches and blacked out badging. Every line on this build leans into a single idea, that a Defender can be both a statement and a machine.

It is also the build style made famous by the Land Rover Defender from the James Bond 007 Spectre movie. Sometimes called the Spectre Defender, the Bond Defender, or the 007 Defender, it is the truck that drove through the mountains in the film and built a cult following overnight. Same silhouette, same aggressive presence, reimagined and built to the Shoreline standard.

Inside, the cabin is finished to the same level as every Shoreline. Heated leather sport bucket seats, Alcantara roof lining, full leather dashboard, and a Pioneer touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A modified Defender that still feels properly built.

Built To Be Looked At

Lifted stance, oversized arches, beadlock wheels. A modified Land Rover Defender that does not blend into the parking lot.

Built To Look The Part

Lifted off-road suspension, beadlock wheels, Maxxis Trepador off-road tires, and a sports brake upgrade. The Villain wears its capability on the outside.

Properly Finished Inside

Heated leather sport bucket seats, full leather interior, Alcantara roof lining, Pioneer touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

What goes into our Villain Defender

Every Shoreline Villain Edition starts with a donor. That is the term we use for an original Defender 90 or Defender 110 sourced from Europe or the United States, the foundation that every Shoreline build is rebuilt from. We strip it back to the bare chassis and rebuild from there. The original drivetrain is fully reconditioned, or replaced with a different engine if the customer prefers a swap. The brakes and suspension are upgraded. The body is stripped, prepped, and refinished by hand.

The Villain is built around presence. Lifted off-road suspension, larger extended arches, modern style front grille, and a heavy-duty bumper with driving lights. Checker plate kit on the wing tops, sills, and rear quarters reinforces the rugged character. Matching headlight surrounds, a front A-bar, and side steps with rubber grips finish the exterior.

Underneath, the Villain rides on beadlock wheels and Maxxis Trepador off-road tires. A sports brake upgrade comes standard. Every Defender we build has the bones for off-road. The Villain just wears it on the outside. A full body roll cage is available as an optional upgrade for customers who want the most extreme version of the build.

Inside, the Villain is finished to the same standard as every Shoreline build. Full leather dashboard and trim, heated sport bucket front seats, Alcantara style roof lining, and a luxury leather sports steering wheel. A Pioneer in-dash touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth and DAB sits at the center, paired with a 2.0 sound system with subwoofer.

Available as Defender 90 Hard Top, Defender 90 Soft Top, Defender 110 Hard Top, or Defender 110 Crew Cab. The 110 Crew Cab also functions as a Defender pickup for customers who want the truck profile.
